At Diesel Headquarters in Milan (MI), we are currently seeking an innovative and dedicated Head of Womenswear Designer to join our organization. This role involves working within the Style Department, overseeing the full creative process of the Womenswear RTW collection, working closely with the Creative Director and Studio Director, and guiding the Womenswear RTW design team. Main Responsibilities: Oversee the design process from initial sketches to final samples, ensuring aesthetic consistency and design integrity aligned with the Creative Director's vision, brand identity, and seasonal direction. Lead trend research, create mood boards, select fabrics, and develop prints, colors, and silhouettes. Supervise and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Coordinate with the Global Merchandising team to ensure a well-balanced collection that meets both creative vision and market needs. Participate in fittings and liaise with the Product Development team for material sourcing and prototype review. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience of at least 10 years in womens fashion design, including 2-3 years in a leadership role. Master's Degree or equivalent in Fashion and/or Graphic Design. Strong creative vision with deep knowledge of trends, fabrics, and garment construction. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and similar tools. Ability to align creative vision with business objectives. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with great attention to detail. Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of a second language is a plus.
