The Chief of Staff at Pakira will serve as theright hand to the founderand the day-to-day operational leader. His/Her mission is to ensure flawless execution of strategy, relieve the CEO from day-to-day operational burdens and drive the efficiency and the success of the team.

This is a top-tier role, reserved for a true 10/10 — someone extraordinarily capable, with a proven record of significant results, who can seamlessly move between strategy and execution, numbers and people, operational detail and bigger-picture.

Who we are

Pakira is a Growth Studio that invests in early-stage companies with revenues between €300k and €3M and actively scale them. Our goal is to prepare them for exit, accelerating growth through marketing and sales while existing teams focus on product.

We operate as a hybrid between accelerator, operational venture capital and private equity — at times creating or acquiring high-potential businesses ourselves.

Pakira was founded by Pietro Marchetti, a serial entrepreneur who has built multiple category leading businesses and achieved a multi-million-euro exit to Bending Spoons SpA.

The Chief of Staff at Pakira is the closest role to the CEO — a true right hand with full access to information and rapidly expanding responsibilities.

This is not an assistant position. It starts with operational and administrative support and quickly evolves into strategic and managerial functions.

Known as the ultimate “CEO training,” this role provides unmatched exposure across all aspects of the business. The Chief of Staff can grow into leading a department, managing the Executive Team, stepping into a COO role — and, in some cases, founding or leading new ventures within the Pakira portfolio.

The mission of this role is to:

- Free up the CEO’s time and mental bandwidth
- Enhance team effectiveness and alignment
- Accelerate efficiency and success

We summarize this role in three pillars:

- Admin: run daily operations, manage accounting, compliance and external relations (lawyers, accountants, advisors)
- People: coordinate, support and develop the team, ensuring alignment and building simple but effective operating systems
- Execution: take ownership of strategic projects, solve cross-department issues, ensure delivery of results at a high standard

The role requires the ability to operate in complex, dynamic environments while maintaining high levels of precision, execution and impact.

Responsibilities

The Chief of Staff will be responsible for:

- Managing and optimizing administrative, compliance and financial processes, including accounting and reporting
- Monitoring key KPIs and ensuring clarity of performance across the company
- Leading recruiting and selection of top-tier talent
- Coordinating teams, aligning priorities and driving execution at high standards
- Translating strategic vision into concrete, measurable plans
- Anticipating problems, removing obstacles and improving processes proactively
- Investigating and solving cross-department issues, or stepping in to run a struggling department when necessary
- Taking ownership of critical projects and delivering them with excellence
- Keeping the CEO and leadership team accountable to commitments and results
- Acting as the CEO’s proxy: shadowing in meetings, gathering insights, and substituting when needed
