Senior Specialist Trade Marketing Motorcycle
Primary Purpose of the Position
The Trade Marketing Manager is a strategic position within the Motorcycle business, focusing on trade activation of the marketing plan. The role aims to strengthen Brand projects in the market and facilitate communication between Countries and the Region under a new central marketing approach to meet business objectives.
* In market activation: Develop and implement Retail Programs, manage sell-out promotions, and end-user activities to grow the Retail Channel.
* Motorsport activation: Coordinate European Countries in leveraging Motorsport sponsorships and support marketing content creation and execution.
* Event execution and monitoring: Manage brand activation projects from strategy to execution, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
* Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts across website and social media, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with third parties.
* Budget: Manage event-related budgets efficiently, negotiate costs, and maximize ROI.
* PR management: Coordinate PR activities and select Motorsport/Motorcycle content for media channels.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Retail Channel Activation
* Develop Retail Programs supporting promotions, merchandising, POS materials, and training.
* Ensure program deployment at the country level, maintaining consistency.
* Guide countries on new tools usage (e.g., Showpad, Brevo).
* Align marketing processes with consumer needs (e.g., Promotion Management Tool).
Digital Marketing Plan
* Design and implement social media strategies, goals, budgets, and tactics.
* Monitor website KPIs and collaborate with third parties for development.
* Ensure digital marketing deployment at the country level.
* Aim for year-over-year brand awareness growth.
PR Management
* Coordinate PR/ATL activities within the communication plan.
* Select Motorsport/Motorcycle content to craft engaging stories and enhance Dunlop's media presence.
* Share content internally to keep teams aligned.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in marketing roles.
Knowledge & Skills
* Marketing, Motorcycle industry, Digital marketing, Communication
* Flexibility, result-oriented, strong presentation, writing, editing, digital planning, event planning skills
* Ability to work in virtual teams
* Excellent English proficiency
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role
