Supports asset management activities. The role involves monitoring and analysing the performance of assets maintenance processes, interfacing with the Area Plant & Equipment Coordinators or Workshop Coordinators. Preparation of analyses and proposals for the acquisition of new assets or the sale of existing ones. Monitors the machinery maintenance process by interfacing with the on-site Area Plant & Equipment Coordinators or Workshop Coordinators.
Defines the technical specifications required for issuing purchase or rental requests for machinery and equipment, in coordination with Project & Construction Managers.
Participates in drafting the project equipment fleet during the tender phase, providing technical advice.
Periodically visits international workshops or construction sites to conduct audit activities.
Follows the procurement (purchase/rental) activities for new equipment on critical projects, offering technical advice to Project & Construction Managers.
Verifies and monitors purchase requests for machinery spare parts from Coordinators and performs technical evaluations.
Updates and maintains the site fleet management software.
Knowledge and application of preventive maintenance techniques.
Knowledge of Workshop workflow & principles.
Knowledge of construction heavy equipment (Earthmoving equipment, Lifting equipment etc) and plants (batching plants, crushing plants etc) is mandatory.
Knowledge of English language is mandatory; any other language is a plus (Portuguese; Russian; French).
Good knowledge and practice of IT programs (Microsoft Office Suite); knowledge of Oracle suite is a plus.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Diploma
~3+ years of relevant experience as assets management and maintenance
~ Experience as Plant Manager (or equivalent roles) in construction sites, including experience in workshops set up in difficult environment
