As a Maintenance Supervisor you'll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies and identifying new and efficient ways of working.
In this role, you'll pay close attention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you'll put in place upgrades to take that standard even higher.The Maintenance Supervisor is the shift lead for a team of up to 10 Technicians (fitters and electricians).
During each shift, you'll lead the team in executing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
You'll maintain a strong focus on safety by monitoring processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.Learn more about Amazon RME in AustraliaKey job responsibilitiesLead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional developmentDevelop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategiesAct as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the siteInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipmentCross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetingsBasic QualificationsA full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including valid licence when required (i.e.
unrestricted electrical licence).Leadership experience supervising multi-trade teamsExperience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenanceRelevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environmentsExperience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
