The Opportunity: Our Planning and Fulfillment HUB in Europe we are looking for a HUB Expeditor. Currently P&F HUB give service to Power Transformers, Insulation and Components and Distribution Transformers. Working closely with 18 factories among the HUB, solving internal feeder factories escalations, highly collaborating with the HUB Material Planner, ensuring material availability and covering visit with suppliers in topics of material availability (if it’s the case). On site support could be needed.
Responsibilities
* Lead the forum for internal escalations, ensuring feedback, fast attention and resolution of topics.
* Proactively assess risk and define the level of criticality of every escalation.
* Support 100 days material availability full deployment among the 18 factories in HUB EU.
* Facilitate interaction for material coverage of expediting topics between factories.
* Perform root cause analyses behind every escalation and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with SCM and SQE when needed to rehabilitate a supplier, including onsite supplier visits if required.
* Support the HUB Material Planner with digitalization for raw material forecast collection.
* Act as an agent of control during crisis situations, implementing countermeasures and guiding solutions to avoid repeating the same opportunities.
* Be an active contributor to solving the expedition process from start to finish across processes, including logistics and warehouse facilitation.
Your background
* A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Organizational Systems, Organization, Strategic Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar field.
* Operational buyer, material planner or planning experience required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
* Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is required.
* Highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
* Good time management and task prioritization, high self-motivation, curiosity, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
* Team player with the ability to operate across different countries, high accountability, strong communication and interpersonal skills, cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality long-term solutions.
