About the role
We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join our Engineering department. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Mechanical Designers, managing projects from concept to completion, to develop full autonomy.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
1. Design mechanical components as well as small machine groups;
2. Modify already existing machine groups, design mechanical parts;
3. Draft relevant technical documentation;
4. Support the assembly department for ongoing modifications;
5. Strong collaboration with the Electronics Department;
6. Design review;
The position is based in Castel Maggiore (Bologna, Italy).
What you need to be successful
To be successful in the role, you must have a strong and keen interest in designing activities and an innate aptitude for working with customers and colleagues. You are a team player.
You also:
7. Hold a Technical high school diploma. The attainment of a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related is considered a plus;
8. Previous experience of at least 3 years of experience, preferably in automation machinery;
9. Know parametric designing tools. Understanding of Creo Modelling and CAD Tools will be considered a plus;
10. You are willing to learn SAP and Oracle. If you already have, it will be considered a plus;
11. You feel at ease speaking, reading, and writing in English;
12. You are thrilled about potential business trips (15-20%);
13. You are handy, flexible, and curious.
