Databricks operates at the leading edge of the Unified Data Analytics and AI space. Our customers in Italy rely on us to drive the accelerated innovation needed to stay ahead in today’s highly competitive landscape.

We are looking for a creative Named Hunter Account Executive to join the team in Italy to maximise the phenomenal market opportunity that exists for Databricks in the Manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise, you will come with an informed and compelling point of view on the Big Data and Advanced Analytics space which will guide your successful strategy and together with both our teams and partners, allow you to provide exceptional value to our customers.

The impact you will have:

1. Assess your list of assigned accounts and develop a strategy to execute against it
2. Build a customer base, identifying and closing new logo opportunities
3. Lead your customers and partners to identify impactful big data and AI use cases whilst proving out their value on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
4. Identify land opportunities and develop the expand / consumption use cases.
5. Orchestrate and utilise internal teams to maximise the impact on your ecosystem.
6. Build exceptional value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations to close point

What we look for:

7. Experience working in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS industries with some technical sales experience
8. Successful experience selling complex software deals and quota over-achievement
9. Understanding of consumption based land and expand sales models is advantageous
10. Knowledge of the Data & AI space with some technology sales experience
11. Evidence of creating demand that delivered substantial business value
12. Experience of following robust sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling and accurate forecasting
13. Experience of building effective champions, collaborative teams and partnerships to support execution of your territory plan.
14. Understanding of how to identify all key uses cases and buying centres in an opportunity to increase the impact of Databricks in an organisation
15. Fluent Italian and business English required.
