The division operates in France through Urbasolar, a pioneer since 2016, and as a group platform offering comprehensive expertise in PV projects worldwide.
We also operate across Europe through entities including Axpo Solar Italia, based in Rome, Milan, and Bari.
Mission
As a Project Development Manager, you will oversee projects in the development phase, working with Axpo Solar Italia partners or on greenfield sites, ensuring objectives related to ready-to-build projects are achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out preliminary development studies and coordinating project teams and third-party service providers
* Finding and coordinating with service providers during consultation and execution phases
* Preparing administrative files, submitting them to authorities, and leading the administrative process to obtain necessary approvals
* Managing permitting phases, participating in public meetings, and liaising with authorities and grid operators to ensure timely permits
* Setting up development budgets and monitoring them throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensuring project schedules and budgets are met until all authorizations are obtained (PAS, PAUR, DILA, etc.)
* Analyzing new project proposals
* Participating in project acquisition assessments and monitoring co-developer activities
* Negotiating contracts related to land, connection, SPA, and shareholder agreements in collaboration with local partners and support functions
* Providing regular reports on project status, issues, and solutions
You will report to the Head of Project Development - South Italy and collaborate closely with project teams in Rome, Milan, and Montpellier.
Profile
Candidates should hold a Master’s or engineering degree with at least 2 years of experience in PV or wind development projects in Italy.
Good knowledge of solar technical aspects and understanding of Italian PV & electricity markets are required.
Key abilities include:
* Project management skills (methodology and rigor)
* Excellent communication skills in Italian (primary language)
* Fluent in English; French is a plus
* Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
* Efficiency and prioritization skills
