About the role
The Compliance team ensures our products and processes meet regulatory standards and deliver excellent customer outcomes. They excel at finding solutions and conducting testing in a digital environment, leveraging data-driven approaches to manage conduct risk effectively.
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to maintain and enhance our consumer protection practices, develop our compliance department, work on cutting-edge financial features, and advise the business on compliance requirements and controls. This is a highly hands-on role that requires proactive engagement.
What you'll be doing
* Advising the business on compliance requirements for financial products and controls
* Creating, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch
* Reviewing feedback and approval processes for credit product initiatives
* Managing the compliance training program
* Reviewing and approving marketing communications
* Analyzing complaints to improve customer outcomes
* Monitoring compliance and conducting Horizon Scanning across our operating countries
* Interpreting regulations, identifying applicable requirements, and mapping them to controls and policies, addressing gaps as needed
* Collaborating with Risk Managers to resolve compliance risks and incidents
* Proactively identifying regulatory issues and recommending solutions
* Engaging with internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, BSA/AML) and external regulators, advisors, and partners
What you'll need
* Experience in regulatory compliance within consultancy, compliance function, or regulatory bodies
* Skills in conducting gap analyses, policy creation, and implementation
* Expertise with payments, prepaid cards, savings products, deposits, and FOS business models
* The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
* Understanding of compliance risk and business risk interplay
* Strong communication skills for internal teams and regulators
* Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
* Sound judgment and analytical skills
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements across areas like credit, payments, deposits, and privacy, with a willingness to expand expertise
