Within GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform we are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Senior Specialist, who will join Financial Reporting & Accounting Unit.

This unit manages the financial statement of GOSP and GCT, reporting it to CFO, CEO, auditors, BoSA and BoD. We also manage the periodic reporting package to Group Finance, assessing the data quality and mitigating the financial reporting risk. We coordinate the local accounting operations of all the 7 branches of GOSP, account payables and account receivables, defining processes, policies and leading automation initiatives. We are an international team spread in 5 cities and 3 Countries, but we work altogether towards the same targets with the same values.
Since the first days joining the team, you will be inserted into hands‐on accounting operations, receiving support from your senior colleagues, on the job training and formal training. You will be exposed progressively to more complex tasks as soon as your increasing understanding of your first tasks allows you to streamline their management, also with robotic help.
Main Tasks
Key support for Consolidated Financial Statement, KPMG auditors & Tax consultants and in case of a Tax Audit, for both GOSP and GCT
Contributor to the overseeing of all local accounting operations for IFRS purpose, also reviewing payment requests
Helps the Unit Head into maintaining the accounting tools of the company, according to the evolving regulatory scenario
Verify local accounting process are compliant with GFRR & DQ principles, collecting the evidence for key controls tested by GHO audit
Project Manager for automation projects impacting finance processes and tools
Requirements
At least 6 years of relevant experience
B2 English, spoken and written
C1 Italian, spoken and written
ERP mastery, ideally in SAP and Tagetik
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
