Role Overview: We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented resource to join our growing team and support our production and supply chain operations. This internship is a great opportunity for Engineering or Economics related fields students and recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of operational activities in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. You will work closely with production, R&D and procurement teams to support the development and optimization of planning tools, processes and workflows related to procurement and manufacturing of advanced metamaterials. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support procurement, production planning and suppy chain operations 2. Improve supply chain workflows and inventory management 3. Support quality control of manufacturing and products 4. Contribute to the standardization and documentation of operational procedures 5. Analyze data and propose solutions to improve production and purchase efficiency and reduce lead times 6. Participate in internal meetings and provide support on cross-functional projects related to operations Qualifications: 1. Engineering Degree is preferred 2. Strong analytical mindset and interest in operations, planning and production processes 3. Familiarity with Excel 4. Proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment 5. Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)6. Prior experience (e.G., thesis project, internship, university lab) in production/operations is a plus, but not required 7. Driver licence is strongly reccomended While a technical or management engineering background is a strong asset, what really matters is your curiosity, drive and willingness to get involved and grow.
