For a structured restaurant and bar venue offering lunch, dinner, bar service and events, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Operations Manager / Head of Floor, reporting directly to the Ownership.The role is operational and organizational in nature, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the venue, ensuring service continuity, compliance with standards and effective team coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Scheduling & Daily OperationsUpdate staff rota and manage shift scheduling, with final verification of worked hoursCover absences, manage shift changes and lead daily team briefingsSupervise lunch, dinner and bar serviceOversee breakfast operations at an organizational level, including staff management, scheduling and general supervision (not directly operational on service)Operations & Financial ControlManage restaurant opening and closing proceduresOversee cash handling and related reportingPlace orders with suppliers, verify invoices and monitor operational costsConduct monthly inventories and periodic stock checksReservations & CoordinationCoordinate with hotel reception for guest reservationsManage reservations through dedicated platforms (e.G. SuperB)Liaise with event managers for the planning and execution of eventsTeam ManagementOrganize team operations, holidays and staffing coverageTrain staff and ensure operational procedures are consistently appliedSupport recruitment activities, including CV screening, interviews and onboardingStandards & Facility ManagementUpdate and maintain restaurant and bar checklistsMonitor service quality standards and mise en placeManage staff uniformsOversee the condition of the venue and report maintenance or repair needsIdeal ProfileProven experience in operational management within restaurants, bars
