We are looking for a Night Manager to join our Front Office team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.
He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity, and community.
Reports to Front Office Manager.
Main Duties Responsibilities: Handle all Front Office operations (check-in, check-out, escorting, cashier operations, guest care) in accordance with Belmond policies, procedures, and compliance with our code of conduct; Perform daily closure, cashier checks for all hotel venues, accounting reports, posting control, and provide data to statistics and local government institutions; Assist with all guest requests; Handle emergencies according to procedures; Manage and support 2 team members; Ensure smooth night operations and maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements At least 2 years of previous work experience in the same senior position at 5-star luxury hotels; Fluent in English and Italian; proficiency in a third language is preferred; Knowledge of hotel management software such as Infor HMS or others, and proficiency with the Microsoft suite; Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally; Ability to manage night operations effectively.
Other Requirements: Effective and punctual written and verbal communication to keep relevant colleagues and departments updated; Ability to work cohesively within a team, showing respect and willingness to share information and skills; Commitment to continuous self-development; Accuracy and precision in all duties and checks performed; Demonstrates a sense of urgency and takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities; Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
