Position Summary
Magazziniere, Hotel Cervo, Hotel Cala di Volpe, Costa Smeralda.
Responsibilities include receiving and staging merchandise by department, marking appropriately for placement in facility, and delivering merchandise to appropriate department. Stacking received merchandise on pallets or carts. Completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies, notifying manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner. Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, rotating stock, inspecting deliveries and dates to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality throughout case lots. Refusing acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Adhering to food safety and handling policies across all food‑related areas. Organizing, cleaning and sanitizing all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment and drains. Removing empty pallets, cardboard and trash and placing them in proper storage areas.
Reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager; completing safety training and certifications. Following all company policies and procedures; ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information; protecting company assets. Speaking to guests and co‑workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others; supporting team to reach common goals. Complying with quality assurance expectations and standards. Reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Standing, sitting or walking for an extended period or entire work shift. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and placing objects weighing less than or equals 50 pounds without assistance. Grasping, turning and manipulating objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills. Moving through narrow, confined or elevated spaces. Moving over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs or service ramps. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
