PpAs Laboratory and Special Processes (SP) Leader you will demonstrate expertise in special processes, laboratory testing, and metrology. You will show strong leadership and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities include managing activities and priorities, collaborating with shop and engineering staff, overseeing laboratory and SP supplier management, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage laboratory and SP activities in alignment with priorities and the production plan. /li liProvide technical leadership to resolve issues. /li liEffective collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, sourcing, shop operations, and quality to ensure requirements are met on time and to specification. /li liAchieve and maintain customer, third‑party, and Nadcap accreditations. /li liManage laboratory and SP audits both internally and at external sources. /li liDirect improvement programs. /li liLeading technology introductions (e.g. new metrology equipment, automation, advanced NDT). /li liManage investment plans to enhance laboratory capabilities. /li liSelect, hire, and train personnel. /li liCoach, mentor, and provide continuous feedback to team members. /li /ul h3Qualifications / Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Engineering degree. /li liStrong experience in a leadership role (hourly and salaried). /li liDeep knowledge of laboratory operations and special processes. /li liFamiliarity with process qualification and measurement systems. /li liFamiliarity with key international and customer requirements (e.g. ISO 17025, Nadcap, S‑400, PW MCL Manual). /li liProficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, Problem Solving tools and statistical methods. /li liFluent in Italian, proficient in English. /li liStrong analytical and communication skills. /li liWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required. /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liStrong oral and written communication skills. /li liStrong interpersonal and leadership skills. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 h3Smart working and work life‑balance /h3 pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work‑life balance.
