Techbau is seeking a Buyer for its office in Castelletto sopra Ticino (NO). The candidate will be part of the Procurement team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Department, with the main goal of ensuring proper multidisciplinary procurement of supplies and subcontracts, in line with project objectives regarding timing and costs.
Responsibilities:
* Define purchasing strategies and Vendor List in collaboration with the Project Manager;
* Scout and qualify potential suppliers for the procurement process;
* Receive and verify internal purchase requests for compliance with procurement guidelines and standards;
* Send requests for quotes to potential suppliers and manage tenders;
* Conduct commercial verification and technical-economic comparative analysis of received offers, in collaboration with the Project Manager and Engineer;
* Negotiate final price and contractual terms, formalize purchase orders respecting quality and cost standards;
* Support the Project Manager in monitoring the procurement process progress;
* Assist the project team in managing claims and contract variations.
Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in technical-economic disciplines;
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within EPC contractor companies;
* Strong interpersonal skills for working with project teams and suppliers;
* Good written and spoken English skills;
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
