Join to apply for the Tecnico Sala Prove - Trasformatori role at Hitachi Energy for our Business Unit Transformers based in Monselice. The position focuses on performing factory acceptance tests as a Quality Control Specialist.
Responsibilities
* Physical preparation of the unit in test according to company procedures;
* Tests execution, results analysis and validation, report preparation;
* Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems;
* Similar activities could be performed also at site before transformer energization (in Italy and Europe).
Your Background / Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field;
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in testing; experience on transformers is a plus;
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment;
* Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the electrical industry;
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software;
* Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal;
* Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
