Telespazio- electrical infrastructures engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Infrastructures Engineer within the Teleports and Ground Infrastructures Engineering Area of Telespazio – Leonardo Space Division. The role focuses on designing and supervising electrical and technological infrastructures for satellite communication ground stations and related facilities.

• Design electrical and technological infrastructures for satellite communication ground stations, including datacenters, control rooms, and internal layout building upgrades.
• Supervise construction phases of infrastructure facilities implementation.
• Design electrical plants for CED (equipment rooms) and ground stations.
• Supervise HVAC plant installation phases.
• Develop technical‑economic proposals for tenders.
• Perform requirements analysis and define architecture and technical specifications for infrastructure and plant upgrades.
• Develop electrical plant designs and technical notes, product specifications, and statements of work.
• Manage infrastructure projects, procurement, subcontractors, and progress supervision, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Oversee construction, installation, integration, and testing activities.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, thermal and air conditioning system principles, and functionalities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in drawing building and utilities plant diagrams with AutoCAD.
• Experience in developing project documentation (technical notes, product specifications, statements of work).
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution fundamentals and safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08).
• Strong technical project management attitude, teamwork, passion for the space sector, and willingness to travel worldwide.
