The Role of the Night Manager
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for supervising all the Front Desk activities during the overnight shift. You will respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies, assuring the safety, security and wellbeing of our guests and employees. You will run daily and night audit reports, assist guests with check-in and check-out, reviewing arrivals and departures to plan accordingly, assuring all financial and credit procedures are followed.
Our Ideal Night Manager candidate will have
At least 3 years of experience in the role with proven leadership practice within a luxury Front Office department. You will have an empathetic and caring approach and a talent for offering our guests the best recommendations and personalized service, ensuring that every experience is unlike another and that each guest feels unique. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, a passion for service, an exceptional eye for detail and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities. We are looking for a special individual who shares our passion for excellence and who delights in the magic of curating special experiences and memories for our guests. You have fluency in English, Italian and a third European language.
This position is based at the San Domenico Palace Taormina and the contract is seasonal. The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
