Our client is a major multinational company specializing in the distribution of medical supplies. In order to strengthen the internal staff, he commissioned us to search for a Senior Accountant.We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist the Finance Manager in managing local audit and tax activities. The role involves hands‐on accounting tasks, SAP system usage, and internal reporting. A good level of English is required for documentation and communication within the company.Key Responsibilities
Support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and financial reportingEnsure accurate accounting and compliance with Italian accounting standardsHelp with month‐end and year‐end closing activitiesLiaise with external auditors and tax advisorsMonitor fiscal deadlines and ensure timely submissionsPrepare internal reports and communicate effectively in English when needed
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax in ItalyGood knowledge of Italian tax laws and accounting principlesExperience with SAPGood command of EnglishStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively and support senior management
