Our client is a major multinational company specializing in the distribution of medical supplies. In order to strengthen the internal staff, he commissioned us to search for a Senior Accountant.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist the Finance Manager in managing local audit and tax activities. The role involves hands‑on accounting tasks, SAP system usage, and internal reporting. A good level of English is required for documentation and communication within the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and financial reporting
* Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with Italian accounting standards
* Help with month‑end and year‑end closing activities
* Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
* Monitor fiscal deadlines and ensure timely submissions
* Prepare internal reports and communicate effectively in English when needed
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax in Italy
* Good knowledge of Italian tax laws and accounting principles
* Experience with SAP
* Good command of English
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively and support senior management
The contractual framework and the remuneration will be commensurate with the experience gained. Smart working is not considered.
