We are looking to hire an Inventory Control Quality Assurance Operations Manager to lead and take ownership of our Robotics Fulfillment Centers Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) operations. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and supervise a team of ICQA Area Managers and hourly Associates (including Team Leads and Data Analyst) assigned to inventory control, quality assurance and problem solving operations within the fulfillment center. /li liPartner with Operations and other Support teams to establish, influence and adhere to policies and procedures. /li liEnsure compliance with safety programs and SOX regulations. /li liAnalyze inventory defects, problem solve issues or customer defects data to identify corresponding action plans that improve quality. /li liConduct short-term (weekly) and mid-term (monthly/quarterly) labor plans, forecast capacity needs, staffing plans and schedules. /li liSupport interviewing and training of Fulfillment Center Area Managers. /li /ul h3A Day in the Life /h3 pYou will lead a department responsible for inventory control, quality assurance and problem solving operations. Your day typically starts with a meeting with the fulfillment centers leadership team, where you review previous day performance and address any ongoing issues. Throughout the day, you review inventory discrepancies and quality performance, analyze data for trends and opportunities for process improvement, collaborate with your own team of Area Managers and hourly Associates, and partner with central teams such as Catalogue, Procurement, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Loss Prevention and Program Management. You will spend time on the floor, observing processes, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and dedicate time to developing and providing feedback to your Area Managers and identifying training needs. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Management experience. /li liExperience in people management and team development. /li liExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. /li liExperience working on large assignments, driving project collaboration across different teams, businesses and stakeholders. /li liBackground in a logistics, distribution or similar environment. /li liProven ability to influence across varying levels of seniority within an organization. /li liExperience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques. /li liFluent user of the entire MS Office suite, especially Excel. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification. /li liExperience in auditing, risk management, compliance, program management, or quality management systems. /li liResilient, focused problem solver and self-starter, able to multi-task and prioritize in a complex, occasionally ambiguous environment. /li liAbility to learn and adapt to new software systems, data analysis tools, and program management platforms. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
