Your role and responsibilities As Team Leader, you will act as a client‑facing practitioner, working collaboratively with clients to deliver high‑quality SAP SD solutions and serving as a trusted advisor with a strong understanding of SAP SD methodologies, best practices, and related work products.
You will lead projects that support clients in optimizing order‑to‑cash processes, pricing, billing, shipping, and sales operations to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and strengthen overall sales performance. This role offers opportunities to expand your skills, collaborate across disciplines, tackle new challenges, and gain a comprehensive understanding of various industries.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Strategic SAP SD Solution Focus: Leading the design, development, and implementation of SAP SD solutions that are simple, scalable, and aligned with client needs.
Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Driving strategy definition and solution implementation, leveraging your knowledge of SAP SD and the latest technologies to deliver measurable business value.
Client Advisory and Support: Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them in process optimization, change management, and adoption of SAP best practices.
Team Leadership: Coordinating and mentoring team members, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required technical and professional expertise
Hands‑on experience in SAP SD configuration, including the ability to design, configure, and deploy SAP SD solutions in line with client requirements.
Proven track record with at least 3 full end‑to‑end SAP SD implementations, covering all project phases from preparation, blueprinting, realization, testing, to go‑live.
Experience performing in roles such as Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Solution Architect, with the ability to guide junior team members and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Deep understanding of SAP SD processes and workflows, including Order‑to‑Cash, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, and integration with other modules (FI, MM, PP, WM).
Ability to analyze and optimize sales and distribution business processes, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and client organizational objectives.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Familiarity with S/4HANA advanced features such as Embedded Analytics, Fiori apps, and Advanced Order‑to‑Cash functionalities.
Experience with Billing and Revenue Accounting integration, Credit Management, and Group Reporting in SD context.
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives and process automation projects.
Experience in coordinating cross‑functional teams (FI, MM, PP, WM) beyond core SD processes.
Prior experience mentoring junior consultants or team members in SAP SD.
Knowledge of SAP CDS views and custom reporting development for SD.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects (legacy to S/4HANA).
Understanding of industry‑specific SD processes (e.g., retail, manufacturing, pharma).
Ability to provide thought leadership in sales and distribution strategy.
International project experience or working in multi‑country SAP implementations.
Good English communication skills, particularly for client‑facing roles and international projects.
