The role focuses on ensuring visibility, control, and optimization of hardware resources throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to retirement.Responsibilities Lead the management and governance of hardware IT assets across their entire lifecycle within a global environment.Maintain accurate asset visibility and control, ensuring hardware resources are effectively tracked and managed.Work closely with internal stakeholders (infrastructure, procurement, finance, and service management) to support asset planning and operational needs.Contribute to the development of hardware lifecycle strategies, including refresh and replacement planning.Ensure asset information is properly maintained and leveraged within enterprise ITAM platforms such as ServiceNow HAM Pro and CMDB.Promote best practices, governance standards, and process improvements within the IT Asset Management framework.Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support strategic decisions related to hardware asset utilization and investment.
Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in IT Asset Management with a focus on hardware assets, ideally within complex or international environments.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, including interaction with CMDB structures and asset data governance.Solid knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle processes, from acquisition and deployment to refresh and retirement.Understanding of IT service management frameworks and governance standards such as ITIL and ISO.Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments, coordinating with teams such as procurement, finance, infrastructure, and operations.Strong capability in data analysis, asset reporting, and performance monitoring to support operational and financial decisions.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate asset data into actionable insights.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Professional certifications in IT Asset Management, such as IAITAM CHAMP or CSAM.
