The Hotel:

Main responsabilities:
1. Taking reservations accurately where necessary while keeping track of guests preferences
2. Greeting and seating guests according to MO standards
3. Presenting the menu correctly to each guest
4. Clearing plates and tables and ensuring general table maintenance throughout the meal
5. Ensuring guest satisfaction
6. Handling special requests from guests and VIPs
7. Handling guest complaints
8. Bidding guests farewell
9. Anticipating the guests' needs
Requirements:
10. Proficiency in english and italian language
11. Must be able to set up tables for all meal periods
12. Must be able to set up service stations
13. Must be able to set up the bar/restaurant reception area
14. Must be capable of handling all relevant equipment
15. Must be able to handle all reservations and guest enquiry of the bar/restaurants in a timely manner
16. Prepare all table arrangement of the bar/restaurants
17. Ensure the menus are up-to-date and in excellent condition
18. Must have good communication skills within department and able relate message with other departments within the hotels
19. Attend daily meetings
20. Attend all mandatory training sessions arranged by MO
21. Perform all administrative tasks designated to him/her by management
22. Be aware of, and comply with, safe working practises as laid down under FHLSS. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your work place
23. Be aware of, and comply with local and relevant Food Acts.
24. Wear any appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Hotel.
25. Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to the Hotel procedures.
26. Ensure any accidents to colleagues, guests or visitors are reported in accordance with Hotel procedures.
27. Attend all statutory fire training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning, fire, health & safety.
28. Be aware of Fire safety plans
29. Adhere to Safe&Sound procedures regarding Health & safety
30. Adhere to Safe&Sound procedures regarding HACCP standards
31. Attend any training deemed appropriate by your Head of Department
