Establishes and achieves short- and long-term objectives to ensure the organization's viability, producing customer orders while complying with safety, quality, costs, and deadlines. Leads daily activities within the plant to meet financial and operational objectives set by the business plan. Advises on strategic and complex projects, supporting successful plant initiatives, new product introductions, and process improvements. Monitors investments and financial results. Relations: Reports to the 'Operations Leader Italy' Engages with internal contacts at all levels to promote diversity, morale, and employee engagement. Represents plant leadership externally. Collaborates with departments such as Human Resources, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, and all site employees. Responsibilities: Oversees results related to safety, finance, on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and manufacturing capacity aligned with customer demands. Ensures safety and environmental compliance. Manages production units and supply chain activities, including order management, material handling, and shipments. Optimizes manufacturing methods and processes, fostering continuous improvement. Organizes and manages a team of managers, ensuring employee safety, health, and environmental initiatives. Monitors quality, develops policies, implements lean indicators, and adjusts workforce based on order book and production results. Oversees new product launches and continuous process improvement projects. Qualifications: Proficiency in Windchill, Oracle R12, MES, and MS Office suite. Knowledge of ERP, PLM tools, and their functionalities. Understanding of the order cycle and its impacts. Fluency in English and Italian. Expertise in Lean tools, manufacturing processes, and quality systems. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Experience managing managers and a production site financially.
