Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional for a fixed-term position based in Piombino Dese, eager to contribute to transformation, process excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic international environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and help strengthen governance, digitalization, and sustainability practices while working closely with internal stakeholders and business partners. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
Support the design, standardization, and implementation of processes, policies, and governance frameworks across the organization
Contribute to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including tool rollouts, workflow optimization, and process harmonization
Monitor and analyze KPIs related to savings, compliance, and supplier performance, translating data into reports, dashboards, and actionable insights
Support supplier sustainability and ESG initiatives, including supplier assessments, rating activities, and compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct
Collaborate on digitalization projects involving ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, contract management tools, and supplier portals
Partner with Category Managers on strategy development, tender processes, and supplier management activities
Provide support for local and plant-level activities within the assigned site, ensuring alignment with global standards
Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working
Analyze market trends and benchmark performance to identify improvement opportunities, monitor progress, and support target achievement in line with budget and strategic plans
Build strong and effective relationships with internal teams, leaders, and external partners to increase awareness of business objectives and support overall performance
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in supplier management, tendering, contract-related activities, or similar business processes
Knowledge of ESG principles and their application to supplier management and sustainability initiatives
University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Sustainability, or a related field
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or LN, as well as digital tools supporting business processes
Strong analytical mindset with advanced knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
Fluent English and Italian is required
