In this role you drive OFR trade and route development for DHL Global Forwarding Italy, shaping the network and service portfolio. You collaborate with customers, shipping lines, and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality. You will manage bids, tenders, and performance reporting to support growth. This is a hands‑on, impact‑focused role in a global logistics leader.

* Implement OFR trade and route development strategy and respond to enquiries efficiently
* Allocate and reserve freight on planned linehaul for hub/operations performance
* Monitor and update the product portfolio in a timely manner
* Deliver day‑to‑day shipment documentation and assist in tender development ensuring timely submissions
* Contribute to process improvements and design systems to enhance service quality
* Ensure customer and shipping company requirements, service, cost and budget guidelines are met
* Develop and maintain databases to enable quick network responses
* Build and secure business relationships with customers and shipping companies
* Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
* Negotiate competitive rates with shipping companies while meeting service specs and transit targets
* Oversee developments of new solutions, services, lanes and traffic development
* Resolve issues in day‑to‑day delivery and improve OFR trade and route management effectiveness
* Provide guidance to less experienced team members
