Mathematics & Science Teacher (English-speaking) – Middle School
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Mathematics & Science Teacher to join our Middle School in an international bilingual learning environment.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and Science in English, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking, curiosity, and a global perspective.
Our educational approach is inspired by the principles and philosophy of the International Baccalaureate, promoting student agency, interdisciplinary learning, and the development of international-mindedness.
STEAM projects are developed on a yearly bases as an interdisicplinary approach to develop critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Science to Middle School students through the English language
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the school's educational approach
- Foster inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through student-centered learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Contribute actively to the wider life of the school community
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Education, or a related field
- Experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science at lower secondary or middle school level
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an international team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international or bilingual schools
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate philosophy and inquiry-based learning
- Teaching qualification or certification relevant to the role
