Ph3Job Description Summary /h3pReporting to the Defense BU Operations Leader, you will drive delivery excellence and supplier performance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as needed. You will be accountable for supplier risk mitigation and for supporting the Supplier Assessment team in executing improvement plans when issues arise. In addition, you will ensure on‑time delivery of critical parts impacting plant performance, manage recovery plans, monitor and improve KPIs through targeted action plans, prevent customer impact, reduce delinquency levels, and minimize inventory in close partnership with MRP planners. /ph3Job Description /h3h3Essential Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of supplier capabilities, capacity, and risks in order to proactively identify potential constraints, build recovery plans, and mitigate delivery issues affecting critical material and customer impact. /liliEstablish a robust operating rhythm with plants to review supplier performance, anticipate risks, and reduce supplier delinquency. /liliConduct regular supplier visits to assess operational robustness and drive timely escalation, both internally and externally, based on issue severity, including engagement with Procurement Leaders and Commodity Leaders when appropriate. /liliPartner cross‑functionally with key stakeholders to drive delivery performance, supplier improvement, and operational excellence through a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
