Senior Program Manager - Offshoring, International Emerging Stores MVR
Amazon is looking for a highly skilled and analytical Senior Program Manager, with a passion for making an impact through innovation and delivering solutions at scale for emerging countries including Singapore, UAE, KSA, Egypt and South Africa. This role offers a unique opportunity to support our growing business while driving large scale, high visibility projects with substantial internal and external impact.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Deliver critical business initiatives for our existing small and medium vendor base – selection expansion, availability, vendor operational performance, marketing and promotions etc.
* Manage all aspects of such initiatives in association with our remote operations team (e.g. workstream planning, requirements definition, key metrics definition, risk management, and communication).
* Identify opportunities for vendors to grow their business, engaging with teams to set up the right processes as well as owning the business performance.
* Analyze and dive deep on our business performance, identify possible changes and present insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
* Engage with Retail teams to share learnings and agree on actions on joint complicated problems.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and able to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. He/she is able to:
* Think and act strategically and tactically delivering measurable results
* Take initiative and autonomously propose and implement new projects and ideas
* Solve ambiguous problems using structured thinking and data‑driven approach
* Effectively communicate and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
Basic Qualifications
* 5+ years of program or project management experience
* Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
* Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
* 4+ years of people management experience
* Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
* Experience managing budgets
* 2+ years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
* Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
