Accountabilities
* Ensure project delivery meets contractual requirements, budget, quality standards, and deadlines, maintaining customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for project profit and loss.
* Identify and manage project risks, updating risk assessments periodically with support from the Risk Manager, and propose contingency strategies to top management.
* Evaluate and allocate risk contingencies as needed, with approval from the Project Controller.
* Maintain the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary interface for all project-related matters. Coordinate all direct communications between the project team and the customer.
* Coordinate the Deputy Project Manager and Project Assistant during project execution.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
* Approve the master schedule and secondary schedules prepared by the Project Planner.
* Authorize changes to the project baseline affecting costs, schedule, or contractual obligations.
* Manage customer variation requests, from proposal to negotiation.
* Approve sub-contracts and Letters of Intent related to key suppliers and legal entities, ensuring alignment with project budget, schedule, and contractual terms.
* Oversee the preparation and management of project progress reports and meetings, including financial reports by the Project Controller.
* Approve and manage all project communications with the customer.
* Validate invoicing plans and oversee product delivery to the customer.
* Lead and motivate the project team.
Required Skills and Knowledge
* Minimum 10+ years of project management experience in a complex, multinational organization.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop constructive relationships with stakeholders.
* Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or IPMA certification is a plus.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
Languages
English at C1 level or higher.
