We are seeking an ambitious Strategic Buyer to join our international Purchasing Team. You will support the category manager in the development and delivery of spend strategies, engage with suppliers on various topics to improve supplier performance and support in delivering the business objectives.
The role involves establishing and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and direct spend suppliers to complete project tasks and develop best practices.
Your Key Responsibilities :
* Strategic Sourcing & Procurement : Collaborating closely with the category manager with preparation of tenders and cost benchmarking.
* Data Analysis & Reporting : Meticulously gathering, analyzing, and presenting data relating to the spend portfolio and supplier KPIs.
* Sourcing Strategy Development : Supporting the creation and implementation of direct spend sourcing strategies.
* Stakeholder Management : Cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring an expectational customer experience
* Supplier Relationship Management : Building strong supplier relationships to support with cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements.
Your Qualifikations :
* Education : Master's degree studies in a relevant area (e.g. Business, Engineering, International Procurement or similar)
* Experience : 1+ years' experience as a Strategic Buyer in Direct Spend function. Sound working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, processes and tools.
* Communication skills : Business fluent in English. Any other language would be an advantage.
* Analytical skills : strong analytical problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively and being self-motivated and results driven with sense of ownership & urgency.
