/ph3Overview /h3pWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Developer to join our Engineering team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, verification, and validation of electronic hardware solutions for railway safety-critical systems, contributing to high-performance, reliable, and compliant products throughout the full product lifecycle.
/ph3Main activities /h3ulliDesign and develop analog and digital electronic boards for embedded railway systems /liliDesign and implement the FW/SW necessary for HW component tests – or specify the software to be developed by the FW/SW designer /liliDefine hardware architecture and select electronic components /liliCreate and review schematics, BOMs, and hardware technical documentation /liliSupport PCB layout activities in collaboration with layout engineers /liliExecute and support hardware verification and validation activities (functional, environmental, EMC tests) /liliContribute to safety and reliability analyses in compliance with railway standards /liliSupport industrialization, production issues, and field troubleshooting /liliCollaborate with Firmware, System Engineering, RAMS, VV, Quality, and Industrial teams /li /ulh3Educational Requirements /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering /liliSolid knowledge of analog and digital electronics /liliExperience with embedded systems and microcontrollers /liliKnowledge of communication buses (e.g. CAN, SPI, I2C, MVB, Ethernet) /liliKnowledge of international regulations (EN*****; EN*****, EN*****, MIL-HDBK 217F, IEC***** and IEC*****) /liliKnowledge of VHDL and C code /liliExperience in PLD/FPGA (Altera-Lattice) programming /liliFamiliarity with hardware design tools (e.g. Altium, OrCAD or equivalent) /liliBasic knowledge of railway or safety-critical standards (e.g. EN *********************) is a plus /liliAbility to produce clear and structured technical documentation /liliGood oral communication skills /liliGood written and spoken English communication skills /liliAbility to work in multidisciplinary and international teams /liliAbility to work with remote collaborators /liliInternational mindset /li /ulh3Contract Type /h3ulliPermanent contract (Full-time) /li /ulpYou don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
