An exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role. We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libFinancial Control: /b overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses; implementing and reviewing financial policies; audit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders. /li libFinancial Reporting: /b production of monthly financial reporting GAAP; overseeing budgeting forecasting process and long term planning; monthly and annual reporting. /li libFinancial Performance: /b responsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget; business partner with two General Managers implementing controls, solutions, and action plans; assist the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations; advise and provide counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters. /li libTreasury Tax: /b treasury management, cash planning, review of the cash position in order to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business; review all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes. /li libOther: /b support the financial function of any opening of new products; assist with the accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closure and ownership changes; together with the General Managers, manage the relations with third party, owners and/or partners; facilitate the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris; communicate relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liProven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts /li liStrong cluster / multi-property exposure preferred /li liSolid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands-on approach /li liFluent in English and Italian /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liPermanent contract according to C.C.N.L.
