JOB OVERVIEW:
TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and execute quality audits, and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Maintain and develop the Quality Management System according to IATF 16949 and internal standards
2. Initiate and conduct trainings for Quality Management System and in case of changes of internal directives
3. Monitor and control specific customer requirements and implement it to the internal directives
4. Use Quality Core tools to improve production processes, and to solve Customer or internal issues. (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, incl. Control Plans / QIP / Flow charts, MSA, SPC, Problem Solving)
5. Work on Quality Projects to maintain and develop the quality system and improve the Quality performances
6. Perform internal system audit, process audits and any other potential assessments
7. Control compliance between directives and reality and inform responsible employees about nonconformities
8. Prepare management review and report regularly about QMS status.
9. Use TE tools for tracking and improving Quality production results
10. When required, processing of customer complaints and internal issues according to 8D methodology and other problem-solving methods
11. Drive the correct management of blocked stock
12. Input for FMEA and owner for Control Plan and other quality documentations in case of new projects, change management and complaints
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
13. University degree in engineering or similar disciplines
14. Preferable at least a short experience (even during the study) in quality or lean manufacturing topics in a manufacturing environment
15. short experience in automotive business (preferable)
16. short experience in quality assurance (preferable)
17. ISO 9001 / IATF 16949:2016 environment
18. knowledge of quality management system according to IATF 16949
19. knowledge of problem-solving tools
20. knowledge in statistics
21. ability to analyze data
22. Ability to take data driven decision
23. Automotive Core Tools
24. Problem solving/Global 8D methodology
25. VDA 6.3 Process Auditing
26. Fluent in English
27. Good PC skills (MS Office)
