Jyamma Games is a dynamic and fast-growing independent game studio based in Milan, Italy. Founded in September 2019, the studio began as a small team of passionate young developers and has since evolved into a diverse group of over 50 talented professionals from across the globe, including veterans from some of the most renowned companies in the video game industry.
Under the guidance of experienced leaders from the entertainment world, Jyamma Games made its mark on the industry with the release of Enotria: The Last Song in September 2024 – a Soulslike AA+ title that brings a unique, sun-lit twist to the genre. Deeply inspired by Italian folklore and culture, Enotria was received as a breath of fresh air not only for Soulslike fans but also for the Italian gaming scene as a whole.
Building on this momentum, Jyamma Games is now focused on developing an entirely new original IP, continuing its mission to create high-quality, distinctive gaming experiences that resonate worldwide.
Job Description
Jyamma Games is looking for a talented and motivated Senior UI/UX Designer with at least two years of relevant experience to work on pc/console products, designing the user experience and user interface for video-games.
As part of the production team, reporting to the Technical Art team, Senior UI/UX Designer will play a critical role in translating the game vision into an enjoyable player experience.
Fundamental Requirements
* At least 4-5 years of experience designing UIs for pc/consoles
* Ability to create flowcharts, wireframes and prototypes
* Knowledge of accessibility principles and research
* Skills in creating 3D assets for UI, with an eye for optimization
* Good grasp of composition, color, iconography and typography
* Familiarity with the use of Unreal (preferably Unreal Engine 5)
* Proactiveness and ability to identify and solve problems in a creative, efficient way
* Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and XD (or equivalent)
* Fluent in English

* Extensive experience building UIs with Unreal Engine 5
* UI animation and VFX skills
