EA srl , a proud member of the Alfanar Group , is looking for a highly skilled and experienced MEDIUM VOLTAGE RMU R&D; ENGINEER , with a strong background in designing and developing Medium Voltage Ring Main Units (RMUs) using fuse-switch protection and dry air (SF6-free) insulation technology, ensuring compliance with IEC standards. The engineer will be actively involved in design, 3D modeling, prototyping, manufacturing support, and type testing.
Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings of RMU components and full products;

Electrical performance; Dielectric clearances and insulation; Support dielectric and thermal design of current-carrying parts and insulation systems;
Bill of Materials (BOM), Technical specifications and reports;
Participate in and support type testing activities at accredited laboratories;
Analyze test results and contribute to design improvements and optimization;
Collaborate with simulation, quality, sourcing, and production teams during development.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
~Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Catia, or similar);
Understanding of: Current path and thermal considerations, Dielectric design and insulation coordination, Mechanical design of MV enclosures and components;
Exposure to type testing of MV equipment.
Familiarity with simulation tools (thermal, electrical field, or mechanical);
Experience working with international testing labs (CESI, KEMA, LOVAG, etc). xlwpduy
Hands-on, practical engineering approach;
Ability to work on multiple development tasksGood communication skills in English (Italian is a plus);
Contract Type: Permanent contract ( Tempo indeterminato );
Gross Annual Salary (RAL) starting from €40K (commensurate with experience);
