Overview Project Manager Location: Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy Role type: Full-time Areas of Interest: Consulting, Project Management Posted: 16-Oct-2024 Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver the Workplace Experience (WEX) Project in Modena, Italy, on behalf of CBRE, and oversee FM, infrastructure, MAC and project management activities under the main WEX project. A principal contractor will be awarded for the main construction work; the role is to ensure effective coordination for the customer. Act as the single point of contact for CBRE with the project team, attend all meetings as CBRE representative for the customer, and ensure deliverables for the CBRE team are managed on time and on budget. Build strong relationships with the customer and wider stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction with project outcomes. Create, coordinate and manage the moves and changes aspect of the project, working with the customer to organise planning, sequencing and scheduling. Interface directly with the customer to define project requirements as part of the wider CBRE site management of the office. Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through project qualification; conduct standard to complex RFPs, complete bid analyses, lead evaluation interviews and recommend resources to clients. Implement communication plans for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed; disseminate tasks from principal contractor meetings and follow through to completion. Report status and variances, create action plans to meet objectives and schedules, and identify risks with proposed mitigation. Identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement actions to reduce risks. Demonstrate knowledge of projects and project management within the context of business results (business case, economic implications, business risk, etc.). Lead in providing workplace excellence, introduce new spaces to the customer, and act as the point person for successful adoption of new culture and technology. Own the successful completion of the principal contractor’s snag list, follow up on progress, and drive delivery on behalf of the customer. Supplementary Project Management qualification: APMP, LEED, RICS or equivalent (preferable). Skills: Fluent or high proficiency in English (spoken and written); excellent written and verbal communication; strong organisational and analytical skills; ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers; ability to effectively present information; intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project; ability to read and understand architectural drawings; knowledge in leases, construction contracts, and construction practices; local knowledge and experience of projects in an international environment; ability to solve advanced problems and deal with complex situations; expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry environment; ability to comprehend, analyse, interpret complex business documents and present persuasively to various stakeholders.
