The Role of the General Accountant Assistant/Specialist:
- Support daily accounting entries and general ledger activities;
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing with team support;
- Help with reconciliations and financial statement closing;
- Coordinate withexternal accounting and tax advisors on VAT / CIT filings, under guidance;
- Support VAT andwithholding tax (F24) filing and payment follow-up;
- Assist with INTRASTAT and Eco Tax documentation;
- Support daily operation of the E-invoice system;
- Assist with internal and external audits;
- Prepare basic financial data and reports as requested by the manager or HQ.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience (GL / AP / AR background welcome);
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related fields;
- Basic knowledgeof Italian accounting and tax processes, willing to learn;
- Good Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus (SAP preferred);
- Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset;
- Working proficiency in English and Italian; Mandarin is a plus.
