We're looking for a Test Engineer to support testing and validation of IoT devices for grid environments. A great opportunity for freelancers who enjoy hands‐on work with edge systems, cloud platforms, and modern testing frameworks.

What You'll Do
\n
- Test and validate IoT and edge solutions
- Manage and monitor edge devices
- Work with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Modbus, OPC‐UA...)
- Use AWS/Azure/GCP environments
- Work on Ubuntu Linux, Docker, Snap
- Write scripts (Python; basic Go/Rust/Java)
- Test REST APIs
- Use Jira / X‐Ray
Must‐Have\n
- Strong experience with Playwright
- Solid Ubuntu Linux skills
- Docker & Snap experience
Nice‐to‐Have\n
- IoT protocol experience
- DevOps/CI‐CD familiarity
- Networking (L2/L3/L4, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC‐UA, IEC standards)
- Smart grid / automation experience
