Position: Mechanical Construction Supervisor
Job Type: Full time - unlimited
Your contribution to the energy transition
As our Mechanical Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for on-site supervision of Mechanical (Post, Rack, and Modules) construction works on solar PV EPC projects in Italy. Your responsibilities include ensuring technical, environmental, safety compliance, quality, schedule, and integration control. Key tasks include:
* Reporting to the Construction Manager and Team Leader, collaborating with Project Purchasing & Logistics, System Design, Specialists, Consultants, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and the Client to ensure compliant project execution.
* Defining project scope, calculating resources, establishing standards, scheduling, coordinating subcontractors and staff, and evaluating milestones and change orders.
* Inspecting, supervising, and reporting on construction activities to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, schedules, quality, and safety standards.
* Managing suppliers and subcontractors, implementing KPIs, monitoring performance, and taking corrective actions as needed.
* Ensuring compliance with QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, and codes in Italy.
* Managing documentation, reports, work procedures, QCPs, and ITPs.
* Supporting logistics with material distribution and incoming goods inspections.
Your energy is required
We value candidates with:
* A Civil or Mechanical Engineering background.
* At least 5 years of construction supervision experience in Mechanical infrastructure projects, including 2 years in utility-scale solar PV plants.
* Good communication skills in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
* A proven track record of completing projects on time, safely, and in compliance with standards.
* Experience managing subcontractors under strict time and quality constraints.
* Familiarity with construction management tools and MS Office.
* Knowledge of construction, labor, environmental, safety requirements, and legislation.
