Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products. /ph3Responsibilities and tasks /h3ulliIn cooperation with the Country General Counsel and the National Trade Compliance Officer /liliBe responsible for laws regulations expertise /liliProvide proven expertise on local foreign export control laws regulations, sanctions, embargoes, restrictive measures soft laws /liliSynthesis reporting (external internal) /liliRecord accurate data on licenses and controls to anticipate and prepare internal and external reporting, including KPIs /liliAct as a reliable internal partner to support business Management for Trade Compliance issues and relevant analysis /liliAssess the exportability of proposed solutions during bids and manage all Trade Compliance aspects during project implementation /liliSecure in scope trade compliance effectiveness with related records keeping according to internal processes and policies /liliTC risks assessment: provide analysis and recommendations to management to support Trade Compliance position /liliPolicies processes implementation: support managers in implementing policies, guidance, restrictive measures and screening policies; liaise with supervisory authorities and professional organizations /liliContribute to audits with accurate records, report suspected incidents and breaches /liliRestricted Party Screenings: perform recurring and systematic checks with relevant analysis and escalation; ensure traceability of screening operations /liliClassification (product, solution, service): advise and support business on products’ classifications and ensure traceability and record keeping; support license determination and approval /liliCustoms management: advise and support business on classifications and ensure traceability of operations in line with export controls /liliRecord Keeping: ensure appropriate reporting and record keeping in accordance with law requirements and Thales rules /li /ulh3Skills, experience and qualifications /h3ullibKnowledge of Export Control regulations and procedures (Italian, EU, US, etc.) for military and dual-use goods /b /liliAbility to analyze project/product constraints in terms of exportability /liliAbility to perform and assess due diligences and restricted party screenings /liliKnowledge of IT tools needed to perform exportability analysis /liliKnowledge of main contract clauses and INCOTERMs and their impact on liability from an export control standpoint /liliExperience with ERP Trade compliance modules (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM) implementation and usage /li /ulh3Behaviors /h3ulliDisplays passion, energy, drive, agility and resilience in achieving work-related goals under difficult circumstances /liliAbility to interface well and influence effectively at all levels with customers, partners and suppliers /liliLeadership team management; able to work with other stakeholders in a collaborative manner /liliCommunication skills to establish partnership with other functions and explain Trade Compliance issues /liliKnowledge of sales, engineering, industrial, services and supply chain processes /liliAbility to manage complexity; diplomacy and determination /liliCurious enterprising; anticipation, autonomy, rigor pragmatism /li /ulh3Experience /h3pb5-7 years as Trade Compliance Manager /b /ph3Job Location /h3pGorgonzola - Italy with missions abroad /ppItalian + English (fluent) /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
