The Automotive division of TXT E-TECH is opening its market in the United States of America and it is looking for engineers for important clients in the Automotive sector in the states of Michigan and Texas.
Your duties will include creating test specifications and executing tests, conducting different tests like User Acceptance testing, Hybrid testing, Functional testing.
Main Activities:
Review test plan, schedules, release plans, test cases;
Usage of Automotive tools for CAN/FlexRay/Ethernet communication;
Perform system testing, vehicle testing, User Acceptance testing;
Perform test specifications development, test environment setup, and test execution;
Triaging defects created on the OEM side, assign to suppliers, and track the progress;
Support triage and defect prioritization, retesting, and defect closure;
Conduct defect reporting, test reporting, and status communication;
Defect lifecycle management;
Support and work with remote teams;
Interact with Function Owners, Domain Experts, Test Architects, and the Development teams.
Indispensable technical skills:
2+ years of experience in Automotive;
Strong experience in User Acceptance testing, Hybrid testing, Functional testing;
Strong experience in writing test specifications, test execution, and setting up test environments;
Good experience on defect life-cycle management, defect triage and analyzing logs;
Good experience with communication protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, A2B, and USB; Experience using Automotive tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANape;
Experience using Automotive Hardware like Vector VN box and peak CAN hardware;
Should have ASPICE process and Agile methodology experience.
Education: Bachelor's or Masters’ Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Problem solving skills, propensity to work abroad, flexibility, team working abilities, communication and interpersonal skills complete the profile.
