Our mission is to launch 10 high-impact startups to drive the digital and sustainable transformation of the maritime industry.Backed by key partners like Fincantieri, PSA Italy and Intesa Sanpaolo, among others, we provide a unique ecosystem where experienced founders, technologists, and operators collaborate to turn bold ideas into scalable companies.We are continuously looking for Entrepreneurs in Residence who aspire to become CEO and co-founder of one of the startups emerging from Maritime Ventures’ venture building pipeline.TasksAs Entrepreneur in Residence & CEO, you will:
Drive the venture from early-stage product development to successful go-to-market executionValidate the business model and lead the first customer acquisition effortsBuild and lead a high-performing founding teamManage relationships with shipyards, owners, and tech/service partnersCollaborate with venture building experts to develop financial models, pitch decks, and fundraising strategiesRaise the remaining part of the seed round (50% already committed)Represent the company to investors and key ecosystem stakeholders
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking ForMust-have:
10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership rolesStrong entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, execution-driven attitudeExperience in early-stage startups, venture building, or scale-up environmentsAbility to operate across strategy, product, and commercial executionExposure to fundraising processes and VC/investor-facing activitiesInterest in industrial, maritime, or B2B technology-driven businessesFluent in English;
Italian is a plusWillingness to re-locate to Italy and work on-site (optional Genova or Trieste)
