Client Solution Architects is looking for a System Integration Engineer in Vicenza, Italy.
The System Integration Engineer supports the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of constructive simulations, virtual/gaming-based simulations, simulation workstation training, network and system administration on simulation networks, terrain modeling, multimedia development, and Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
1. Provide system administration for constructive simulations and gaming models, including maintaining Windows 10/11 workstations, Windows Server 2012R2/2019/2022, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7/8/9 servers/workstations, including software updates, patches, and baselines.
2. Develop or modify operating systems applications based on specifications and installation documentation.
3. Administer simulation systems in Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) simulation architectures.
4. Operate software in distributed architecture in JLCCTC and JLVC environments.
5. Handle technical operations, setup, teardown of servers, systems, and integration tools; maintain RMF compliance; contribute to exercise design and technical planning.
6. Create databases for constructive and gaming simulations.
7. Configure and manage Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS) including AFATDS, EMT, Air and Missile Defense, JBC-P, MMC-S, TAIS, GCCS-A, TCCS, CPOF, MCIS, CPCE, JADOCS.
8. Integrate simulation and CTC instrumentation systems.
9. Support exercise and training event design, planning, preparation, and evaluation.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
* Active U.S. Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret w/SCI.
* Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of related experience, or a relevant IT certification plus 6 years of recent experience, or 8 years of related experience.
* Valid Security+ or higher IA certification per DoDM 8140.03.
* Outstanding work ethic, integrity, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to document processes, meet deadlines, and work with senior leaders.
* High attention to detail, extended computer work, and ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, up to 4 weeks.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to travel within the USAREUR-AF Theater in Europe and Africa.
What Sets You Apart:
* Experience installing and configuring Windows/Linux OS.
* Experience creating databases for various DoD simulation programs.
* Experience with DoD modeling, simulation, and defense programs.
* Experience with JLCCTC/WARSIM/WIM, JCATS, LOTS, MUSE.
* Administering Microsoft Enterprise Services including MECM, AD DS, AD FS, SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange.
