Team Overview and Job Responsibilities Within the Italy Tax Team, the Senior Tax Specialist will be part of the Italy Tax Department and will perform, supporting the Tax Manager, mainly the following activities with reference to the Italian Legal entities of the Group: Manage tax compliance activities related to CIT (tax computation, tax returns, payments, etc.) including quarterly and yearly tax reporting packages; VAT and withholding compliance; Analysis of potential issues arising from other departments; Support the Tax Manager in managing tax audits, litigations and potential claims, also in coordination with Tax Consultants; Performs controls over tax risks as identified in the Tax Control Framework, implementing potential remediation, with a continuous improvement on tax procedures, methodologies, systems, analysis of potential Tax risks arising from the day by day according to the Tax Risk policy of the Companies; Support the team in reviewing tax benefits (i.e. R&D credit, patent box). Who we are looking for? The Candidate Should Have: Master's Degree in Business Administration/Economics; Prior experience in the role of around 5 years in structured companies or tax firms; Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point); Good oral and written communication skills in English; Practical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or comparable large ERP systems) - nice to have. The candidate should have undoubted ability in analyzing critical issues and proposing solution.
