Our product portfolio ranges from high-speed trains, metros, monorail, and trams to integrated systems, customised services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility solutions. /p h3Industrial Quality Engineer /h3 pThe Industrial Quality Engineer/Technician is in charge to ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities. He/She performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process. He/She records associated NCRs, results, and KPIs. /p h3Accountabilities Authorities /h3 ol liPerform inspections of subassemblies or finished ALSTOM products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements. /li liAccept or reject products as defined in the working instructions. /li liAccurately document NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and Alstom teams. /li liMaintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. /li liControl the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections. /li liAssist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. /li liEvaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action. /li liWork with industrial teams to alert on risks of missing parts due to defects. /li liRecord inspection results in the industrial tools as required. /li liReport to the Industrial Quality Managers the synthesis of inspection results, including KPIs, and stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework. /li liEscalate the anomalies detected on the production lines and ensure their effective treatment (QRQC tool). /li liSupport manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection. /li liEnsure quality animation methodology, in line with APSYS requirements. /li /ol h3Educational Requirements /h3 h3Mandatory /h3 ul liTechnical background enabling the understanding of critical characteristics of the products (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) /li liExperience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools. /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liKnowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset. /li /ul h3Competencies Skills - (Technical Behavioral) /h3 ul liRigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, …) and quality tools. /li liExperience in operational activities and in documentation management. /li liCollaboration and team working. /li /ul h3Equal opportunity statement /h3 pAlstom is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all our employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
