As Technical Support at Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services, you'll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes. brYou'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs. brYou'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations. brAs Technical Support, you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives. brYou will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of – and taking action on the problem. brIf you're a technical wizard, a customer service superstar, and have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, we want you to join our team. /ppWho You Are /ppppKey Responsibilities /p /ppullipBuilding, migrating, deploying, updating and maintaining complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift, and IBM AIX. /p /li /ul /ppullipProviding support during critical situation and incident management, effectively support troubleshooting. /p /li /ul /ppullipCollaborating across multiple teams and lead technical conversation (with client as well). /p /li /ul /pppKey skills /p /ppullipMust have expertise and experience installing and/or updating Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform, and IBM AIX /p /li /ul /ppullipWe want the engineers who are architecting and installing the platforms and supporting them entirely from the ground up brKubernetes background, 2+ years /p /li /ul /ppullipStrong OpenShift experience, a strong background with Kubernetes is a major plus /p /li /ul /ppullipOpenShift is essentially Kubernetes under the hood, some other Kubernetes platforms similar to OpenShift are Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)…our team’s focus is OpenShift though /p /li /ul /ppullipGitOps experience /p /li /ul /ppullipAutomation scripting /p /li /ul /ppullipBackground in programming / development / scripting ( i.e. Java, C++, bash, python, Go, yaml ) is a plus as well /p /li /ul /ppullipFamiliarity with RedHat technologies, including Ansible and RH Application runtimes. /p /li /ul /ppullipDevOps experience /p /li /ul /ppullipProficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions. /p /li /ul /ppullipDesired Certifications - Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes Certified Administrator /p /li /ul /ppullipSetup, Extension and modification of OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters; /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement and resolution of incidents on Elastic and Kafka components; /p /li /ul /p /pppullipCapacity management and performance management of clusters; /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement and resolution of incidents, both with direct responsibility at the container platform level and support for application malfunctions due to misconfigurations on the container platform, in collaboration with the customer's teams; /p /li /ul /ppullipProblem management: identification of root causes and corrective actions and related tracking; /p /li /ul /ppullipChange management: management of changes, both as a result of events and customer requests. Analysis, classification, implementation in coordination with other teams; /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement of the basic components of the OpenShift / Kubernetes platform; /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement of the configuration of virtual networks within the platform, and network interfaces for both application communication and management; /p /li /ul /ppullipInstallation, configuration and use of the monitoring and alert management tools used by Kyndryl, and support for any integration with the tools used by the customer; /p /li /ul /ppullipInstallation, configuration and release to the customer of event collection systems and application logs that will be usable by the customer's team; /p /li /ul /ppullip24x7 support on critical incidents; /p /li /ul /ppullipPatch management and updates for platform components; /p /li /ul /ppullipPeriodic reports on availability and performance; /p /li /ul /ppullipDefinition of backup procedures for all components of the platform; /p /li /ul /ppullipReal-time monitoring of all platform components, with the identification of problems and the management of the communication process (formal and/or informal) and categorization; /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement of user IDs and profiles used in the management of the platform, and possible integrations with the customer's LDAP system; • Management of the keys and cryptographic certificates used in the solution: /p /li /ul /ppullipManagement of the keys and cryptographic certificates used in the solution.
