We are looking for a Mechanical Architect. Candidate Profile Graduated with a Master’s degree from an Engineering School (Electronics, Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or University. Proven experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering, and IVVQ activities. Desire to update expertise continuously and design innovative solutions for customer needs. Interest in strengthening skills in conception, requirement management, development, testing, integration, or validation. Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging environment. Recognized as a team player who enjoys collaborative work. Possesses a synthetic and helicopter view of the organization. Willing to share knowledge as a mentor. Resourceful, analytical, structured, open-minded, curious, rigorous, logical, and ambitious. Key Competencies Quick understanding of the system environment (stakeholders, interactions, products, environment). Knowledge of design-to-cost approaches. Ability to adapt and react to change. Familiarity with management and engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, TFS, JIRA. Experience with network configuration and administration. Experience leading engineering projects or activities. System Engineering Role at Thales Analyze and understand customer needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes. Formalize specifications and architecture to propose optimal solutions. Prepare and execute integration, verification, and validation tests. Define test plans and procedures for system-level testing. Ensure technical integration and coherence of system design, interfaces, and performance. Design command and control system architecture. Demonstrate solutions to customers.
